About Community Walks

Unable to attend the Walk in New York City? SCTNow has an exciting opportunity for you to bring awareness to your community. Become a Community Ambassador and you can establish a Walk in your community the weekend of October 2-3, 2010. SCTNow will work with every Community Ambassador to stage a Walk and recruit team captains and individuals in their community that will raise awareness and funds to Stop Child Trafficking Now.

SCTNow is already on track to establish Community Walks in multiple locations across the United States and the globe. Check the list on this page to find a Community Walk in your neighborhood or please click here to show interest in becoming your own Community Ambassador in your community.

All Community Ambassadors will receive a Community Walk Guide to help them create and execute a SCTNow Walk in their respective communities. Responsibilities will include finding a free venue to hold the Walk, recruiting local sponsors and establishing a goal of at least 100 walkers. In addition, SCTNow will assist Community Ambassadors in creating promotional materials, sample fundraising letters and e-blast copy to maximize their local recruiting
